Livingston County Emergency Management serves the County of Livingston on all responses of disasters and emegencies that impact the county. EM officials work under the authority of the County Judge Executive and KRS Chapter 39. All local county Fire Departments are affiliated with EM to respond on rescue emergencies. EM has 3 rescue boats that respond to call for service on our local waterways. The newest rescue boat is a 24 foot rescue boat that is designed to be used during rough water conditions.

Emergency Management Director - Takes lead on all Emergency Managment related responses in absence of the Director including all tasks assigned by the Director

Deputy Director - Coodinates Emergency Managment functions in absence of the Director or Chief Deputy and takes lead on water rescue and/or recovery operations
